
As a resident physician Dr. Norris also worked with Vidant Tarboro Immediate Care and Med First in Rocky Mount.
Throughout his years at ECU, Dr Norris was active in community service. He worked with the Stroke Awareness and Prevention Clinics in Tarboro and Rocky Mount and served as a leader in the Project Heart campaign tutoring college, elementary, and middle school students. He also participated in a medical mission trip to Haiti in 2013.
Dr. Norris is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advance Life Support, and Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics. He has a special interest in preventative care for all ages.
Dr. Norris and his wife Katie Wakefield Norris have 3 children and live in Clayton. In his spare time, he loves photography, movies, and sports, especially, soccer, football, and softball. Dr. Norris is excited to begin seeing patients in the Horizon Clayton office in mid-July.
